Ingredients:

4 cups puffed rice (Murmure)

1/2 cup jaggery (grated or chopped)

2 tablespoons water

1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder

2 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter)

Directions:

Step 1:

Spread the puffed rice on a large tray or plate. If the puffed rice is not crispy, you can roast it in a pan over low heat for a few minutes until it becomes crisp. Set it aside.

Step 2:

Making Jaggery Syrup:

In a saucepan, add jaggery and water. Heat the mixture over medium heat until the jaggery melts completely, forming a syrup.

To check the syrup consistency, drop a small amount of syrup into a bowl of water,it should form a soft ball when pressed between your fingers.

Add cardamom powder and a pinch of salt (if using) to the syrup. Mix well.

Step 3:

Coating Puffed Rice:
